![]() Oh, and the price? $19 is NOT too much to ask for this software as long as it provides you free upgrades for life. I for one am very appreciative of GAOTD and the developer in providing this Giveaway. Of course, if you don't do repetative text entry very much this might not be the right fit for you. Just type in your boiler-plate text and speed up your work by hundreds of percents. This is very worthy software if you understand how it can improve your computing life. I personally have tried almost every keyboard macro utility that has ever been written, hoping to get something as close as possible to Smartkey. The past/present/and future belong to very good macro utilities like this with perhaps a few more tweaks. So many webmasters would give up their firstborne for great software like this if only they knew how easy it would make their lives. KeyExtender may not be quite as good as Smartkey was, but the Smartkey author died before Windows even caught on. It also allowed one macro to call another. ![]() It actually allowed whole boilerplate documents to be loaded into a key definition (up to 100k I believe) pausing for user input at the appropriate places. Way back in the CP/M days using my Osborne 1 "transportable" computer, I used the very best application for keyboard mapping. ![]()
